In 1980 I began asking the two questions that would eventually help shape this book 1st why is success so difficult to sustain and second its successful innovation really as unpredictable as the data suggests
By the time I being a strategist as Boston consulting group where I had unusual opportunities to see at every level how companies compete it and I had a confounded CPS technologies to commercialize advanced materials technology developed in MIT labs but neither carrier path had yet to fully assess those two questions that were keeping me up at night
So at 38 with the support of my wife and months before our fifth child was born I became a doctoral student and made those questions my life‘s work. I’m happy to say I got the answer to the first and with the continued help of tremendous colleagues drawn to the subject over the decades I’m still coming in on the second in this new addition of the innovators dilemma are you show you some of the exciting new research we conducted since the book was first published two decades ago

Despite the effort put into high school education, I think it needs to be improved for two reasons. One is globalization and the other is the quality of teaching.
前に冠詞を入れたのはgood!)effort put into high school education in Japan for a long time(これも同様の理由で追記です), I think it needs to be improved for two reasons. One is globalization and the other is the quality of teaching.
First of all, globalization of students in Japan is important. Japanese high schoolers are not use to speaking English at this moment and that is not a very good thing. Nowadays, speaking English is becoming almost essential in businesses, and it’s much easier to learn foreign languages from a young age, so high school should teach to speak English more.
First of all, globalization of students in Japan is critical considering the changes in global market.(少し「洒落た」単語 (=critical) を使った方が「賢く」聞こえるのと、常に「どうしてなのか?」 Japanese high schoolers are not used to speaking English now(at this moment、と言うと「今この瞬間」という感じで文脈にそぐわない) after over six years of learning (背景を補足し、論理を補完することで理論的に聞こえる)and it is disadvantageous (not a very good thingというのは口語体に過ぎる)in this world (同上の理由で追記). Nowadays, speaking English is becoming almost essential in businesses, and it’s much easier to learn foreign languages from a young age Which is correct, “from a young age” or “from young age”? [closed]), therefore(この手の作文ではsoよりよりフォーマルなthereforeが望ましい) high schools should teach English speaking (英会話を教えた方がいい、ということであれば添削案かspoken Englishの方が良いでしょう。
Second of all, quality of teaching in Japan is doubtful. Even top Japanese University, Tokyo University is not in top 10 of best asian universities. If Universities aren’t good, that means quality of high schools aren’t good either.
Second of all, the (2回目なので)quality of English (英語で書く時に、このように「言っていることが明確になるような語を足していくこと」を意識しましょう。 (親父はそこらへんは苦しんでいるところあります))teaching in Japan is skeptical. skeptical vs. doubtful) Even the (特定して書く場合にtheを付ける)top Japanese university (ここでは一般名詞), Tokyo University, (カンマで区切って特定し、特定を終わる) is not listed (語感として「入っていない」となるのでベター)in the (前述の通り)top 10 ofbest(topとbest では意味が重複する) Asian universities. If those (東京大学みたいな、となりますね)universities aren’t good, that means the (前に言ったけど、みたいな冠詞の使い方になります)quality of high schools aren’t good either.(最後の部分は英語としては間違っていないものの、理論展開としては繋がりが薄い。
For these two reasons, globalization of high school student and quality of teaching, I think high school education should be improved.
For these two reasons, the necessity of 同上)globalization of the high school students and enhancing (同様)the quality of teaching, I think the high school education in Japan should be improved.
I’ve been at Santa Rita since the April of 4th grade. I came from Tokyo, Japan.
Santa Rita is a special school because all of the teachers and students are so nice, and they have a lot of super fun events.
One favorite memory I have from Santa Rita is when I came to Santa Rita in 4th grade, and I couldn’t speak English but my classmates welcomed me. I didn’t know any rules of the game that they played, but my friends taught the rules to me and played with me. And that made my heart really warm.
Also, at Santa Rita there is a Computer Science class, which is very fun. I learned to code in Scratch in 4th grade through 5th grade, and I got to make games. And right now in 6th grade, I am learning to code in JavaScript. Computer Science’s teacher’s name is Ms. Cradock, and she’s very kind! I think your kids will love Computer Science very much!
I and my daughter make our study/work plan and check the result of them every day.
My daughter and I are busy, especially on the days when we go to gymnastics and lessons, we have just 2 to 3 hours for studying.
In the era where information and tools are abundant, sometimes we lose our way and confidence, get disappointed by comparing with others.
But as long as we decide just direction to go and range we can reach everyday and do our best, even if you go full circle or fall down, we are good.
If you can do whatever you can do now and if you enjoy it, itself is the goal of our life.
I bought Apple TV without 4K for $149.99 in BestBuy. I have thought the necessity of it for a long time and now Apple gives us one-year free subscription to AppleTV+ streaming service of $4.99/mo, thus it equals $90 for the box with a $60 discount. Since there are not much 4K content, I didn’t think +$30 4K option was necessary.
Having said that, I already have Google Echo Dot, Chromecast, Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Cube and not using them at all… But I purchased it anyway for 1. iPhone pictures/videos projection 2. MacBook Air display projection.
This is technically just a projection of the Mac, therefore we can go to English listening web sites and listen to English from speakers of the TV. We value this highly.
As for 1. iPhone pictures/video projection, when I come back from business trips, I can show what I saw and came across to my family. We use this for chatting after dinner etc.
I understand I can do those things by using Chromecast, however, somehow it can’t be connected to TV system and/or home Wi-Fi and it had not been good usability, then I recommend AppleTV.
